Medical Dermaroller Proven Collagen Induction Therapy

The Most Effective Results Using the Most Trusted and Technologically Advanced Micro-Needling Device

What is the Medical Dermaroller procedure?

Medical Dermaroller® therapy is a skin rejuvenating process that uses a medical Dermaroller® micro-needling device, and is only performed by a qualified and trained medical professional. Medical Dermaroller® therapy triggers angiogenesis and collagenesis by communicating directly with your skin stem cells.

  1. The medical procedure requires that the skin first be anesthetized with topical anesthesia. This makes the procedure more comfortable. The numbing cream may take up to 30 minutes to work.
  2. Once the treatment area is numbed, the medical professional rolls the medical Dermaroller® device over the treatment area. This produces thousands of micro-needle punctures in your skin. Different needle lengths are used depending on the thickness of your skin and condition being treated. Therefore, each puncture will penetrate the surface of the skin to depths ranging from  0.5 mm to 2.5 mm.
  3. Depending on the condition treated, it may take 5-60 minutes to complete the procedure.
  4. Then simply rinse of the numbing cream, apply SPF 30 sunscreen, and resume your regular schedule.

How fast will I heal?

The thousands of micro-needle punctures created will close within minutes after a Medical Dermaroller® procedure. In just a few hours your body begins to naturally regenerate and repair the skin. This process occurs under the skin surface, deep in the dermis, where all skin cell repair must occur for lasting results.

When will I see results?

As the new collagen forms, new skin cells regenerate, and the blood supply to the skin improves, it may take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair can be seen. You’ll continue seeing noticeable improvement over the following months as the regeneration and repair process continues. This deep-tissue process lets you enjoy natural and long-lasting skin enhancement.

How long will the results last?

With proper care (e.g.: using the Dermaroller® models for home), you may continue producing new collagen for up to one year after treatment.

How often do I repeat the process?

Your clinician will normally recommend that your Medical Dermaroller® therapy consist of a series of three procedures – waiting at least 6-8 weeks between each procedure. This waiting period allows the natural regeneration and repair process to occur for better results.

The treatment of acne scars, burn scars, and stretch marks may require more extensive Medical Dermaroller® therapy. In this case, your medical professional may recommend up to five procedures.

Please remember that the better your overall health, hormonal and nutritional status, the better your results from any therapeutic procedures.
