The DermaStamp^® provides an effective and economical way to treat isolated, well-circumscribed and/or difficult to access scar(s).

The DermaStamp® is a sterile, single use, and very unique and versatile surgical instrument. As with other Medical Dermaroller^® procedures, patients experience on average a 75% improvement after treatment of an atrophic scar.

DermaStamp ® is a small, compact, and versatile medical device that can be used singly or in conjunction with other Dermaroller® medical devices according to the type and location of the scar(s). At the discretion of your medical professional, the procedure can be performed with or without topical anesthesia, or after a local anesthetic injection.

The needle sharpness and needle arrangement guarantee easy manual skin penetration with minimal force. This allows easy access to formerly difficult-to-reach areas and a more comfortable treatment experience for the patient.

The surgical stainless steel needles have a diameter of only 0.12 mm and a length of 2.0 mm. Depending on the location and desired type of therapy, smaller versions can be manufactured by special request down to 0.1 mm needle length.
 

Actual patient cases using the DermaStamp^®:

	The procedure in the case to the left was performed in two (2) minutes. No anesthetic was used. The scar and its edges were punctured about 20 times with little visible petechiae formation. The scar was cleaned with sterile saline solution. No wound dressing was applied.
	2 minutes after treatment. The inflammation and redness disappears after 1 day.
	The picture was taken exactly 1 month later showing about 75% improvement. One additional procedure will achieve a 90%+ improvement. The improved scar filled-in with new collagen formation and new capillaries by angiogenesis. Note that the pigmentation of the previous reddish scar edges has harmonized with the surrounding skin.
